WCU offers several Bachelor of Science in Nursing program tracks, each designed to fit your specific needs. Each track includes classroom lectures and hands-on training in a clinical setting. In addition to learning how to provide the best care for your patients, you'll also study leadership and management techniques, critical thinking, and moral, ethical, and legal principles in health care.
WCU's Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program provides you with a blend of classroom and hands-on training that will prepare you for work as a Dental Hygienist. At WCU, once you begin your education and successfully complete your courses, there are no waiting lists and your graduation date is set. You'll receive in-depth training in WCU's simulation lab, with workstations that are equipped with artificial patients. Once you've completed your training there, you'll move on to care for patients in WCU's on-site Dental Hygiene Clinic. The training you receive at WCU will prepare you for work in general dental offices and specialty practices, including periodontics or pediatric dentistry. You'll work side by side with dentists as you provide dental care for your patients.
West Coast University designed its RN to BSN program specifically to meet the needs of the working RN at our convenient campus locations. Each class in this program is taught in a 10-week span, allowing the student to focus on fewer subjects at a time and gain a deeper understanding of the material. At the Los Angeles campus, you only need to attend classes onsite the first and last weekend of each term, with the balance of the coursework completed online.
The LVN to BSN program at (WCU) offers licensed vocational nurses the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, as well as qualify to become a Registered Nurse, in a streamlined, 34 month program. The LVN to BSN curriculum is a part of West Coast University's CCNE1-accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, and gives you access to all of WCU's technologically advanced equipment and facilities. WCU's year-round educational system offers new classes every 10 weeks at each of our four campuses. Our curriculum is structured around a specific end date - as long as you are successfully completing your classes, you won't need to compete for space in classes or worry about when you'll be graduating.
