To meet this challenge in postsecondary education, American Career College's mission is to provide adult learners with the skills and technical knowledge needed for employment.

American Career College's goals include, but are not limited to, providing quality educational programs that can be completed in a timely fashion and are facilitated by an outstanding faculty and staff.

The programs offered at American Career College are designed to meet the needs of all communities of interest. Continual program reviews, through the assistance of advisory committees, helps to ensure that all programs are up-to-date and relevant to employers' needs.

ACC History

American Career College (ACC) was founded 35 years ago and has trained thousands of talented men and women for personally rewarding careers in health care.

American Career College has steadily grown through the years by adding faculty, expanding curricula, and developing new campuses to address the growing need for highly skilled health care professionals.

American Career College has three locations in Southern California, along with degree and diploma programs in ten major areas of health care, American Career College has become a leader in the demanding and challenging health care education field.

Our Facilities

American Career College has gone to great lengths to ensure that you have well equipped classrooms, laboratories, equipment, and resources. When you graduate from ACC, you'll have the confidence to comfortably step into real-world health care settings.

If you haven't visited one of our campuses, you're missing out. Here are just a few highlights:

  • Los Angeles - 30,000 square feet with 14 modern classrooms, and 10 fully-equipped labs.
  • Orange County - 21,000 square feet, 11 modern classrooms, and 6 fully-equipped labs. We have an additional building that's 24,000 square feet with 9 classrooms, and 3 fully-equipped labs.
  • Ontario - 64,000 square feet with 16 classrooms, and 9 fully equipped labs.

Blended Learning Classrooms

Some courses at American Career College are offered in a blended format. Blended courses at American Career College combine traditional or face-to-face classroom instruction with an online learning environment. Online chat rooms and threaded discussions provide opportunities for exciting and productive class interaction, as well as the opportunity to connect with faculty members for help and guidance. Chat rooms are open for discussion with peers at any time and with instructors during office hours.

Each blended course also engages students with interactive learning exercises and activities. Students are able to access each lesson from any computer connected to the Internet.
